HCMC CELEBRATE 43 YEARS OF VIETNAM AND PHILIPPINES FRIENDSHIP

On the evening of August 22nd, 2019, The Philippines Consulate – Ho Chi Minh City cooperated with Friendship Associations in Ho Chi Minh City and the Southeast Asia Friendship Association to celebrate 43 years of bilateral relationship between Vietnam – Philippines. The two countries have cooperated in the fields of education, tourism, agriculture, aquaculture, trade, and defense since 1976. This strong friendship was shown by a musical exchange with the theme “ In Harmony”
Attending this special event were Mr. Tran Phuoc Anh – Deputy Director of Department of External relations –Ho Chi Minh City, Prof. Phan Thi Hong Xuan, Chairwoman - Southeast Asia Friendship, and Atty Le Thi Phung The Honorary Consul General of the Republic of the Philippines in Ho Chi Minh City.
On this occasion, the Southeast Asia Friendship Association inaugurated the Vietnam - Philippines Friendship Association of Ho Chi Minh City in which Victory International Education was recognised as the founding member with the principle to strengthen the partnership between Vietnam – Philippines.
